No more ProTools
Voor de kenners onder u; wij zijn overgestapt van ProTools op het APOGEE Symphony System i.c.m. Apple Logic Pro 9.
Een aantal redenen hiervoor zijn:
- Bij de vele luistertesten (o.a. S.O.S. magazine) blijkt dat de interne summing beter is; dus betere kwaliteit met het mixen in-the-box.
- De A/D-D/A conversie van Apogee is een stuk beter dan die van Digidesign.
- De combinatie van audio en midi is een stuk beter geregeld waardoor wij met veel meer gemak een productie kunnen maken die zowel audio- als midisporen bevat.
- Het sample-accurate editen is (inmiddels) even nauwkeurig als ProTools.
- Veel minder vastlopers aangezien Logic inmiddels van Apple is daardoor naadloos aansluit op de sublieme Apple-hardware.
